The Role
As Tech Lead, iOS, you’ll be the primary technical owner of the 1inch Wallet iOS application. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities. You’ll own the app’s architecture and development, improve its CI/CD workflow and monitor it after release. You’ll work on wallet features including perpetual trading, prediction markets and DeFi staking, collaborating with the Product Owner, Android Lead and QA. You’ll also use AI-assisted tools in development and testing, applying sound engineering judgement to the code and tests they generate.
What you’ll do
- Own the iOS architecture and technical direction, balancing feature delivery, maintainability, performance and security.
- Build and improve modular, testable application components, and guide implementation across complex wallet flows.
- Implement wallet features and technical improvements across the iOS application.
- Integrate the application with backend services, blockchain networks and related wallet services.
- Work with Product, Android, Backend, Blockchain and QA on shared product behaviour, API integrations, test coverage and defect investigation
- Use AI-assisted tools in development and testing, reviewing and validating their output against engineering, quality and security standards.
- Protect sensitive information by keeping private keys, recovery phrases, credentials and user data out of AI prompts and inappropriate logs.
- Own and improve the iOS build and CI/CD workflow; monitor releases, investigate production issues and coordinate fixes and improvements to stability.
