Cinema Service Engineer | MAF Entertainment | Cinemas
ROLE SUMMARY
The Cinema Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and support of digital cinema projection, audio, networking, and presentation systems across VOX Cinemas locations. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting new cinema deployments, monitoring system performance, coordinating installations, and ensuring optimal cinema presentation standards while maintaining safety, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
ROLE PROFILE
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair digital cinema projection, audio, networking, and automation systems.
- Support the deployment and commissioning of digital cinema systems across new and existing VOX Cinemas locations.
- Conduct installation and wiring of audio racks, speaker cabling, TMS, and network infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and equipment delivery.
- Maintain technical documentation, installation reports, and calibration records.
- Provide technical support, fault diagnosis, and remote assistance for cinema systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, security procedures, and company policies during all technical activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience servicing digital cinema systems and equipment.
- Strong technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and equipment repair skills.
- Good understanding of cinema projection, audio, automation, and control systems.
- Certification course in Barco or Christie (Level I or II) projection system.
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
